Controls

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Operation โ€‹

  1. The system will come on automatically based on a global schedule, or you can override it using the control tablet.
  2. Verify content on all four displays.
  3. End of day: shutdown via the control UI.

๐Ÿงฐ Maintenance โ€‹

  • If a display is dark, check the receiver, cabling, and input selection.
  • Verify HDBaseT link status at both the transmitter and the receiver.
  • If a display is unresponsive, confirm its power state over Samsung MDC and power-cycle it from MDC before a manual power cycle.
  • If the wall is blank or frozen, verify the 7thSense server output and restart playback.

โš™๏ธ Configuration โ€‹

Applications Used โ€‹

  • 7thSense Delta GUI / Web UI: content management and playback control on the media server.
  • Samsung MDC (Multiple Display Control): display power, input, and picture control over the network on TCP 1515.
  • Samsung display web UI: per-display settings where applicable.
  • IDK HDC-S01U web UI: HDBaseT transmitter and receiver status.

Connection Details โ€‹

Displays are network-addressable and controlled over Samsung MDC (TCP 1515):

  • Samsung Display (DISP03-01): 10.10.0.56
  • Samsung Display (DISP03-02): 10.10.0.57
  • Samsung Display (DISP03-03): 10.10.0.58
  • Samsung Display (DISP03-04): 10.10.0.59

Media server:

  • 7thSense Server (DVP05-01): 10.10.0.60

Updating Media โ€‹

  1. Connect to the 7thSense server using Delta GUI.
  2. Load the updated assets and publish to the timeline that spans the four-display canvas.
  3. Confirm the content appears aligned across all four displays and save the show file to backups.

Adjusting Display Alignment โ€‹

  1. Use the 7thSense Delta GUI to position and align content across the four displays so seams line up between panels.
  2. Use Samsung MDC or the on-display picture menu to set matching picture size, position, and image settings on each panel.
  3. Re-verify alignment across the wall after any display or receiver replacement.

๐Ÿ”ง Troubleshooting โ€‹

A single display on the interior wall is dark while the others are on

Why

Usually a local input, cabling, or HDBaseT link issue at that panel rather than a system fault.

Do this

  1. Confirm the panel is powered and check its input selection and HDBaseT receiver link.
  2. If it stays dark, note the panel position (DISP03-01 through DISP03-04).

Still stuck

Report the affected panel if it does not recover.

The wall is blank or frozen across all four displaysDVP05-01 ยท 10.10.0.60

Why

The 7thSense media server (DVP05-01, 10.10.0.60) feeding this wall has stopped outputting.

Do this

  1. Confirm the displays are powered.
  2. Reboot the exhibit source from the control tablet and allow the server to restart.

Still stuck

If the wall does not return after one reboot, contact support.

If the first action does not resolve it, contact the KMI AV support team: Brian Alexander, 214-799-1850, Brian.Alexander@OnyxIntegrations.com.
