📝 Summary

This experience uses two portrait-mounted Epson EB-PU1008B projectors blended to create a single large image across a convex curved wall. A BrightSign XT2145 player serves as the media source, providing synchronized playback to both projectors for an immersive visual presentation.

🛠️ Operation

1. The system comes on automatically on the global schedule (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM), or you can power it on from the GUI tablet.
2. Confirm both projectors are on and warmed up.
3. Verify the two projected images blend into a single seamless image across the curved wall, with the seam aligned and no visible overlap band or gap.
4. Confirm media is playing from the BrightSign player and is synchronized across both projectors.
5. If the image has drifted slightly out of alignment, follow the guided manual alignment under Configuration. Minor drift on this surface is expected and is corrected by hand, not by automatic self-alignment.

🧰 Maintenance

• If one or both projectors fail to display, check power and network connections.
• If no media plays, access the BrightSign Web UI to verify playback status.
• Periodically clean projector filters and lenses per Epson guidelines.

Updating Media

1. Access the BrightSign Web UI at http://10.10.0.112
2. Log in with the provided credentials.
3. Upload new content or adjust playback schedules as required.

Adjusting Wall Geometry

The Water Management projection surface is a curved wall interrupted by a doorway cutout. Automatic camera-based alignment reads all four corners of the projected canvas as reference points, but the doorway removes one corner, so only three of the four references are visible. Full automatic self-alignment cannot run reliably on this surface, so alignment here is a guided manual adjustment. This is a property of the surface, not a fault in the system.

For small drift:

1. Connect a laptop to the site Wi-Fi and launch the Epson Projector Professional Tool.
2. Connect to the projector you want to adjust (PRJ01-09 at 10.10.0.110 or PRJ01-10 at 10.10.0.111).
3. Open the geometry / corner-adjustment screen and identify which edge or corner has drifted, and in which direction.
4. Nudge the affected corner or edge in small increments, working from the three visible corners and the wall edges as your guide. Check the full image on the wall after each change.
5. Save the adjustment so the correction persists.
6. If the image will not come into alignment with small adjustments, or is grossly misaligned, stop and contact the KMI AV support team rather than making large changes. Large corrections can compound the drift and make a full realignment necessary.

Why

Minor geometry drift on this surface. The Water Management wall is curved and interrupted by a doorway, so alignment here is always a guided manual adjustment, not an automatic self-align. This is a property of the surface, not a fault.

Do this

1. For small drift, follow the guided steps under Configuration, Adjusting Wall Geometry, on this page. Adjust one corner or edge at a time and check the wall after each change (projectors PRJ01-09 at 10.10.0.110 and PRJ01-10 at 10.10.0.111).
2. Save the adjustment so the correction persists.

Still stuck

If the image will not come into alignment with small adjustments, or is grossly misaligned, stop and contact support. Large corrections can compound the drift and force a full realignment.
