Fast orientation for anyone operating or supporting the HDVC AV system day to day.

Daily Schedule

The Q-SYS scheduler runs the exhibits automatically. No manual start/stop is required under normal operation.

• Flowing Waters: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM daily
• All other galleries: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM daily

Staff Control Panel

An iPad running the Q-SYS User Control Interface (UCI) is the staff control panel for manual overrides.

• IP: 10.10.0.233

Use the iPad UCI to check exhibit status or intervene if the automatic schedule needs to be overridden.

System Power

Exhibit power and content sequencing is handled by Ottomater, the show controller running inside Q-SYS. Two system-wide named controls are available:

• System Power On - turns all exhibits ON
• System Power Off - turns all exhibits OFF

Individual exhibits can also be powered on/off independently; see each exhibit's page for its specific controls.

Finding an Exhibit's Documentation

Every exhibit gallery has its own page under Experiences, covering equipment, control, operation, and maintenance for that exhibit. Use the sidebar or the Experiences overview to find the page for a specific gallery.
